Nightingale College of Health was established as a Limited Liability Company Incorporated under the Ghana Companies Code 1963 (Act 179) on 6th September, 2007 and issued with a certificate to commence business on 7th September, 2007.
The School started its three (3) years Registered General Nursing (RGN) Programme in August, 2009. Four (4) Batches of Students have graduated in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 and are working in various Government /Private Hospitals.

Nightingale College of Health has Institutional and Programme Accreditation from the National Accreditation Board (NAB) and Professional Accreditation from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC).

Clinicals practicals
The School has adopted a policy to let students use the first year to acquaint themselves with some nursing procedures and materials in school ‘s well –equipped demonstration room and start their clinical practical’s from the 2nd Year at the following hospitals: La General Hospital, 37 Military Hospital ,Ridge, Achimota , Tema.
